So Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks just make me go weak at the knees, OK?
I can't resist.
So when two new lovelies come out? All over it. Even though Charlotte didn't pick my name suggestion when she launched a competition to pick a name, whatever. I'm over it.
The two new shades are both two romantic hues - romantic is the best word I can think of to describe these. The colours are dreamy soft pinks, that are far more flattering than a hot pink but still have that cute, twee girl vibe going on. Pretty.
Between The Sheets is described as a vintage rose petal shade, whereas I think this is a more of a slightly pastel nude. Let me say how much I love the matte revolution formula - it's matte but so comfortable and long-lasting. It's not a skin-toned nude lipstick, but gives lips a flush of colour and I can't help but think that romantic sums up these two shades so well. Maybe I've been suckered in by the valentines marketing. Think spring, think freshly kissed lips, think girly flush.
Kiss Chase
Kiss Chase is my favourite of the two, and the colour is the perfect representation of being a little bit naughty... Kiss Chase really is a good name for this one, I'll give it that. It's got a satin finish, but manages to stain the lips a little and is so flattering on. I do really like the original charlotte tilbury formulation, as the lipsticks are comfortable and feel a little waxy so they're not too glossy or smudgy. A little bit like jammy lips, and with enough berry to give it a lovely level of depth on the lips but without being dark or vampy or too bright. A soft lipstick to wear, in that it would go with a lot of looks and whilst it dresses your face up nicely it doesn't overpower or look too bold.
