Benefit cheekathon.

One of my favourite makeup memories from Uni is piling on the Coralista blush before a night out with reckless abandon (along with mac myth lipstick and too much eyeliner). It has been one of my favourite blushers for the longest time, so I was so excited to see it in the new Cheekathon palette

Perhaps just as exciting as the launch of the palette was that I got to see the palette on the good ship Benefit. Yes, a boat filled with makeup - if you're near Embankment anytime soon, go go go! In the palette, you get five full sized blushes... Dandelion (brightening pink), Hoola (matte bronze), Rockateur (shimmery rose gold), Dallas (dusty rose bronze) and Coralista (satin coral). When I saw the palette online, I assumed the shades were mini but no! This is a big palette with really good value (it's worth £117). The blushes are also exactly the same formula as the regular ones - just as pigmented and blend-able. This is a pretty comprehensive palette, although I imagine it would only suit light-medium complexions. It's pretty much a one-stop wonder for all things cheeky with a contour/bronze (the brush is so good for contouring) and plenty of blush options. The only downside is that there isn't a highlighter, and y'all know I love a strong highlight. I don't think benefit makes a powder highlighter, so... I'm waiting, Benefit :)

You can get the palette exclusively here from House of Fraser.
