An afternoon at the park.

Yesterday it was nice weather and we had nothing urgent to do, so we decided to go to the park and wander around for the afternoon. Bute park in Cardiff is my favourite park ever, it's just so gorgeous and I've been going there for such a long time. Yesterday did not disappoint visually!

& then we went to the Pettigrew tea rooms, the sweetest little tea room attached to the castle/park walls. After waiting a little while we managed to get a table outside (!), and both had an afternoon tea. So good. I had early grey with lemon, Chris had english breakfast and it was so quaint I nearly passed out.

After those scones (amazing) we wondered around town for a bit, and stumbled across a little market with some vintage stuff and this amazing stand with the most gorgeous prints. They are so pretty... We got 2! We also managed to score two bunches of roses for £2, which was awesome.

One of the nicest days I've had in a while, it was so nice to not be doing work and to just hang out and potter about.

What have you got up to this weekend?
