Her new book, Sali Hughes' Pretty Iconic is packed full of mini-essays about certain nostalgic or cult beauty products - it's the perfect book to dip into. Another book worth checking out is the Pixiwoo Face Book, which is packed full of gorgeous looks, step-by-steps and loads of helpful pointers. I find beauty books are such a nice thing to skim through, and absolutely ideal for post-Turkey sofa slumps. Also from Pixiwoo, is the Hollywood Icons DVD, which comes with a limited edition brush as well as a DVD all about the beauty and the glamour of famous screen sirens. Might as well make it a bundle and mention the gorgeous Real Techniques Bold Metals Set, with gold, silver and rose-gold brushes that will make putting on some Christmas-day makeup a real treat.
