Five Favourites: Pink Blushers

We've all got makeup crutches - those staples you know you can go back to time and time again for a quick makeup application. Mine would be pink blush, purely because it's one of the quickest ways to add some glow and liveliness to your complexion.

I've spoken about my love for the Dior Rosy Glow blush so many times so I won't go into it again too much but this blush is a must-have! It brightens the complexion and finishes any makeup look. Another old-standing favourite is Kevyn Aucoin's Helena which is a beautiful dusty pink with a super-soft formula. It's one of those blushes that you can't mess up. A newer one to my stash is the Pixi Glow-y powder in Rome Rose - Pixi makeup is just so underrated because everything is fantastic. The packaging is a little awkward for everyday use, but the beautiful shimmery shade has the softest formula that imparts such a beautiful pink glow to the complexion.

One of the OG pops of pink, Nars Gaiety looks pretty intimidating in the packaging but the formula is sheer enough to ensure that the colour translates beautifully to the skin. Instead of a garish pink it magically turns into this illuminating pop of pink that perfectly brightens up the skin - I think the magic in its brightening abilities lies in the blue tones of the powder which easily liven everything up. The satin finish means you can also artfully place a little highlight onto the cheeks without looking too. For a warmer pop of hot pink, the equally intimidating rose powder blush in Love Potion is perhaps the most beautiful blusher around, and when used with a light hand the silky powder melts into the skin for a pink glow.

Do you love pink blusher as much as me?
