Paris: What I packed.

I had one thing on my mind when it came to packing for Paris - chic. Everything must be chic. It kind of worked, and I wore my hair in a bun along with some silky trousers and red lipstick which is basically as chic as I will ever be in my whole life.

I had this genius idea that I would wear matte eyeshadow to go with my red lips and look understated and NARS Portobello eyeshadow duo is actually perfect for this. So easy to just blend all over without looking over the top and it makes your eyes look brighter. Paired with the Guerlain liner, (full post here) and my red lipstick of choice - MAC Lady Danger and What a blast lip liner on top of the Nuxe reve de miel lip balm.

For base, I basically wanted something that would make my skin look really nice and that would last forever so I obviously went for the MAC pro longwear foundation applied with a damp beauty blender and Makeup Forever full cover concealer in 5 and then dusted into place with the Charlotte Tilbury powder. For blush, the Charlotte Tilbury norman parkinson colour of youth blush is the easiest thing ever to just dab on with your finger as it basically blends itself and then me being me I had to use copious amounts of MAC soft and gentle everywhere. Highlighter addict? Oui.

What's your packing style? Throw everything in or minimalistic?
