Top 13 of '13! (everything else)

Day 2 of the new year and I am back to doing Uni work. Send help.

Without further ado...

YSL Manifesto - Probably my favourite perfume of 2013. I love perfume in general, but I have spritzed my way through over half a bottle of this and I still love it. I picked it up in the sales last year, so I got it for cheaper. It just smells really, really nice... a little bit sexy with lily and vanilla, but it's not sweet or girly.

By Terry baume de rose - Oooh, the fanciest lip balm. It smells like roses, but in a nice way and not at all artificial. So lovely to use, I tend to save it for night times or when I'm working at home. Mmm, I love it so much.

Antipodes Divine Oil - Hero skin product right here. This year was the year of the oils in my skincare, and this is my favourite. It smells nice, really natural and fresh, but I love what it does to my skin. I use it at night, and wake up with visibly softer skin. I really like Antipodes as a brand, and I want to try out more from them. Any recs?

Beauty blender - I love this little sponge for applying foundation. I flit between this and buffing brushes, but I used this the most over the summer. I apply some water to dampen it, and then kind of bounce it all over my face and it leaves foundation looking flawless.

Sephora bottle - Yup, a bottle...! I picked this up in New York, and it's the coolest thing. It's just an empty bottle that you could fill with any makeup-y liquid. I put nail varnish remover in mine! (Just a Boots one) What I looove about it is the pump. It's on the top, so you just put a cotton pad on the top, press down once and it saturates the pad so it's super easy to take off nail polish. If you're ever near a Sephora, grab this!

Hydraluron - Yup, that old chestnut. I use it every morning, and I do notice a difference when I skip it. I just rub in a pea-sized amount straight before my morning moisturiser. I try and stock up when Boots has 1/3 off!

Sally Hansen Advanced Hard as nails - This is, hands down, (ha!) my favourite nail product of the year. It costs under a fiver from Boots and it makes a huge difference to nails. I apply it whenever I paint my nails, and it makes them feel stronger and they seem to grow faster. It's better than Nail envy!

L'oreal eye makeup remover - I posted about this here, and how it's a Clarins dupe. It's just an oily water that you shake and then it takes off all eye makeup so quickly without rubbing at your eyes. I am paranoid about rubbing my eyes, I fear the wrinkles!

Emma Hardie cleansing balm - Yes, the infamous Emma hardie balm. This is my second one now, as I used up a whole one and I missed it so much... It just feels so gorgeous when you rub it all over you face. Your makeup all melts off, and my favourite feeling is when I put a warm/hot flannel on my face and hold it over my face and ugh, so good! This is expensive for a cleanser, but I just can't be without it.

Mane & tale Hoofmaker hand cream - Favourite handcream. Looks funny - it's for horses! - but it's the best handcream for sinking in quickly but leaving hands deeply nourished. My night time essential.

Dove leave in spray conditioner - My hair needs all the help it can get in terms of taming it, so I spray this after washing (and using oil in the ends), and the smell is so good! This is really good for adding some nourishment into hair.

Area H20 shampoo for soft water - This shampoo is so so good! I can only speak for soft water .... people (?), but this lathers so well and leaves my hair feeling squeaky clean but, crucially, not frizzy. Mmm!

Neal & Wolf heat protectant - I was sent this earlier in the year, and I fell in love with it! When I do actually bother to straighten my hair I mist this all over and my hair is protected and smells amazing. Neal & Wolf hair stuff is all really nice, but this is amazing.

... and we're done! I would love to hear about your favourites from this year?
