The perfect spring lipstick with Guerlain.

Yesterday I walked home after work and it was still light outside, and it was even a bit sunny.

Yesterday I wore my perfect spring lipstick.

It was a good day.

With the lighter weather, I'm enjoying some new, lighter lipsticks and my favourite of the bunch is the Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire lipstick in Red Teddy, from Debenhams. The shade reminds me of watermelon and is all kinds of dreamy with copper eyeshadow and Benefit Coralista blush. It's another one of those sans mirror lipsticks that gives the lips a sheer wash of comfortable colour. It feels really light on the lips and fades evenly, so I've been wearing it a lot to work because no one has time for high maintenance lipsticks when you're busy sending reports, right?

I'm enjoying a bit of a Guerlain crush at the moment - with the golden primer being used daily - so this lipstick has taken pride of place on my vanity. Not just because of the packaging, but y'know... it's gorgeous. It needs reapplying every 3 hours or so, so be prepared to show everyone the fancy packaging.

Word of warning - like all Guerlain products, it's heavily fragranced. The whole range has been inspired by the matching perfume, and the scent/taste is a light fruity floral.

Have you tried anything from Guerlain?
